As the creator and co-host of Paracon Australia, my vision is to bring together best of what the Australian Paranormal industry has to offer while giving us all an opportunity to learn, to be inspired and to share in a like minded energy of others who share the same passion and interest for all things Paranormal.

Australia is such a passionate community of the paranormal, yet we have limited opportunity to share and showcase who we are and all that we know.  We all know, we are yet to see a home grown paranormal TV show on our screens.  Paracon is just one way to give ourselves a voice and progress ourselves in the world of the paranormal.

Putting this event together over the last few months has really been quite enlightening for me as my own personal connections in the paranormal community have grown.  Since beginning my journey with the paranormal in 2006, firstly with assisting on a research team and then conducting ACOM ghost tours from 2007, I have always been passionate about educating others about the paranormal and have always considered myself as part of the paranormal community even though I acknowledge I am not a paranormal researcher.  That, I gratefully leave to those who are more scientific minded.

This last few months, however has shown me that as a collective, there is a lot of fear based action which exists within our community.  People are reluctant to share and connect with others for fear of retribution and judgement. And while the fear is often validated by unprofessional facebook interactions, the reality is that we all contribute to the creative universal energies.  Whether we contribute passion mixed with fear and ego, or passion mixed with love, acceptance and greater understanding is a choice we all make when we react or respond to any given situation or experience.

As someone who lives mediumistically and co-creates consciously in all that I experience with the universe. When i encounter the energy of fear along the creative path, to overcome this first and foremost I move to acknowledge the fear in truth looking for a higher purpose.  And being that i feel this collective energy of fear is impacting the creative flow for Paracon, this blog is my way of acknowledging this publicly, so that we may all move towards a more accepting and loving energy.

Paracon promises to be a shining example of what we can achieve when we come together united.  With respect, we can share our knowledge, our evidence, we can embrace one another and take our next step in putting all of our efforts on the international paranormal map.
